I recently had the opportunity to visit Keyes Pharmacy in Newton to photograph their incredible team member who was recognized as Pharmacist of the Year for an upcoming publication feature. Congratulations on such a well-deserved honor!

It was wonderful spending time inside the pharmacy and documenting both professional portraits and candid moments in the space where so much care happens every day. I always enjoy photographing people in environments that are meaningful to them, and independent pharmacies like Keyes have such a strong sense of community and connection.

For this session, we focused on creating polished, approachable images that felt authentic to both the individual and the pharmacy itself. We captured portraits throughout the store, including behind-the-counter moments and environmental images that highlighted the welcoming atmosphere of the space.

One of my favorite parts of editorial and publication photography is helping tell the story behind someone’s work, especially when celebrating achievements like this. Recognition such as Pharmacist of the Year reflects not only professional excellence, but also dedication to patients and the local community.
